Size frame : 13 x 28 in. State of conservation : frame to restore. some gaps in the frame in the upper right angle and lower right angle. Fragility of the upper right corner. Would require a small restoration of the top right frame. Provenance : Private collection, Paris, France. Note : provide a restoration of the frame - cost around $150 to $200. This theme is very rare and very difficult to find on the Artmarket. This painting shows a great mastery of light and color, with warm colors and contrasts that highlight the figures. The painter captured the essence of the pilgrims' encounter with the risen Jesus.
