Biography engraver: Anne Claude de Tubieres-Grimoard de Pestels de Levis, comte de Caylus, marquis d'Esternay, baron de Bransac (Anne Claude Philippe; 1692-1765), was a French antiquarian, proto-archaeologist and man of letters. Biography artist: Giovanni Francesco Barbieri (1591-1666), better known as (il) Guercino, was an Italian Baroque painter and draftsman from Cento in the Emilia region, who was active in Rome and Bologna.
